Abu Dhabi the capital of the UAE, offers a tour of the stunning Grand Mosque, named after His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late President of UAE. It is one of the largest mosques in the world with the ability to accommodate more than 40,000 worshippers.
You can also visit the local Iranian markets in Port Zayed selling local produce and authentic dates in the traditional Arabian souks. Drive along the spectacular Corniche with its gleaming white mosques and elegant skyscrapers.
Stop at the Heritage Village which houses a small museum depicting the traditional daily activities of the Arab community before the discovery of oil. You can also visit the tip of the breakwater for a superb view of Abu Dhabi’s magnificent skyline, drive past the presidential palace and the majestic Emirates Palace Hotel.
